So when life at home went off the rails and I didn’t have the patience to pivot? My first impulse has always been to raise my voice.

How I use MamaZen™

 

At first, I committed to taking 10 minutes to myself at midday to recenter with the MamaZen™ app. I felt awkward (and even a bit guilty!) on my first try.

But after my very first session I noticed a slight change in my emotions: I felt calmer and slightly more in control. 

The next day, I again committed to 10 minutes with the app. I noticed a tangible improvement in the quality of my day: while exhaustion and irritability continued to plague me from the 4pm hour on, I felt better prepared to tackle all the tasks associated with dinner, bath time, and bed time with a bit more patience.

After using the app for a few weeks, I began to observe noticeable differences in my daughters’ behaviors, too: They seemed happier; they were smiling more. I realized that my children were responding to the changes they observed in me.
